Meg Should Guest On Blue Series (Or SOMETHING)

Post by shaneoftheroad »

As per the subject line... Doesn't even have to be a blue series release. Hell, doesn't even have to be a Third Man release. I just hate that she's not doing anything anymore.

ya know, until i read your post, i was just dandy thinking of meg enjoying her married life and whatnot...

but now that you mention, that girl needs to get off her bum and throw something our way. Honestly, i think a random meg white single, cover or original, would be SERIOUSLY sought after. Imagine, a special edition meg tri/7"? or 12" split color single,

+1, you got my vote.

I would have to agree with Hawke on this one. I'm just praying for some kinda reunion mini-tour one day way down the road.

This is yet another of those rare occasions when I agree wholeheartedly with hawke. If she wanted to be doing something now, she would be.

i would love to hear Meg drum or swing that ninja trombone at her leisure with some friends for certain

but... and this is a biggie

i would rather see her do a green series as an interview/person-to-person exchange with a few people ... always thought of her as an archivist

Oh, I didn't know you weren't a fan. 8-)

I'm not gonna go break down her door, ladies and gentlemen. But it wouldn't hurt my feelings if I saw her name on the credits of something new.

be sure to keep your ears open to hear Meg White talking about her dog Elroy in the background before the song starts.
Case closed.

i don't think she'll do anything if she doesn't want to. wasn't there a planned release for her a while back? get off my cloud or something?

I would travel anywhere in the world to see the Stripes live one more time.

I do think she will be enjoying a more quiet life these days, She seems like the type of person who is happy without all the fuss.

Ya' know... The White Stripes were supposed to re-record the entirety of "Get Behind Me Satan" for official release. That's unfinished business.

That's what reminded me. haha Can't believe I finally have this freakin' album. I have to wait for a new stylus before I can spin it though. Wore out my old one on a stack of 300 dirty 45's, trying to decide which to keep and which to give away.
