i liked it ryan....and i agree something has got to be up. i dont think jack was thinking this would be the stripes outcome and legacy.....at least not a couple months ago.

I normally don't play guessing games, but I will offer an opinion: Considering Jack plays it fairly close to the chest and respects Meg's private life (i.e., not ever going to spill the beans publicly), and considering Meg is J. D. Salinger–like when it comes to publicity/interviews, my guess is we may never know the "exact reasons" why TWS called it a day.

I bet the reasons are pretty mundane—they got together and felt it wasn't the same anymore, coupled with Meg's trepidation at going out on a full-blown tour again. I'm going to be content to just think this is what the scoop is, and just look forward to whatever Jack & Co. have in store for us in the future. I really believe something incredible + mind blowing is gonna come from him this year.
