Probably the right place for this question -
not seen it written about but may have missed it.
there are some lyrical differences between the tracks of
Icky thump regular lp and cd.
Any noticeable lyrical differences on the mono lp?

What songs are different between cd & lp besides Rag'n'Bone?

Icky Thump is the radio edit and is 25 seconds shorter on the LP.Kali Durga wrote:What songs are different between cd & lp besides Rag'n'Bone?
I believe that the Mono LP uses the same edits as on the CD.

The 180g vinyl edition contains alternate versions of both "Icky Thump" and "Rag and Bone". "Icky Thump" is a slightly different mix to the digital version and is also edited to be 14 seconds shorter. "Rag and Bone" is also a different mix but in addition contains totally different vocals for each verse (possibly the original guide vocals and there are no vocals from Meg) and is missing the harmonies from the last chorus.

Ah, I knew about Icky being shorter, but it's just the music that was cut, right? Not the lyrics?
And no one has ever heard the third version of Rag'n'Bone?

I remember back when I first heard the mono LP versions of those songs. I had only ever heard the CD versions so I thought the mono LP must be different from the stereo LP (since it was so different from the CD). But of course I was wrong. The mono LP is the same version as the stereo LP except (of course) in mono. I don't think there's a third version of Rag & Bone but as always I could be wrong.

I've read an interview with Jack in which he talked about recording three version of Rag'n'Bone, but that one of them wasn't used. I keep hoping someone will stumble across it somehow.
