GBMS White Stripes Crackers and Yo-Yo

What is the deal with the White Stripes crackers and yo-you from the GBMS tour. I saw it today for the first time and have never heard of them. Why the hell did they sell custom crackers?

The crackers were an XL promo I believe. Only one of 5 or 6 in the package is a white stripes cracker. Not sure about the yo-yo.
