Yeah man, nothing wrong with Jackie spreading his creative juices around but it would be nice it he could call a halt on some vanity projects and find that White Stripes he has in him and get it out there.

Sacrilege I know, but I'm enjoying the JW ride. Would love to hear some Stripes again but also intrigued at having front seats to his evolution. Of course, nothing would please me more than seeing the Racs live again, but as long as the man is making music I won't complain.

I'm with you Ara. As much as i'd like to see the Stripes again, I'm thinking it won't happen for a while if at all.
I am loving jack for a whole set of new reasons.
More Alison !

I have discovered some great music since following TMR and it is always interesting but I dont think the Racs or Dead Weather, good though they are, match the sum of their parts, I am happy the Greenhornes and Brendan Benson are back, would love to see the Kills, Blanche and QOTSA record and tour again, and the stripes would just be the cherry on the icing on the cake.

That is really cool. It's strange hearing him in that style, but I like it.

Jesus Christ. He can do anything, I loved that.

The Messiah hath cometh to sweep us into gentle waters and to shake the soul with 6 strings and a drum.

I really liked what I heard and hope he does more stuff like this.
However, it doesn't replace Jack dancing around on stage shredding my years from 10 feet away. That is what I really want for Christmas!
